ViewRay Incorporated Closes $15M Tranche of Series B Financing and Announces
Partnership with Siemens AG
ViewRay is developing the Renaissance™ System 1000, which combines MRI and gamma ray radiotherapy to provide real-time 3D imaging and targeting of tumors while treating with radiation. MRI is the only imaging technology capable of producing a stream of dynamic images during radiation therapy which will not dose the patient with additional radiation. ViewRay recently completed the second tranche of its Series B financing and announced a partnership with Siemens AG to develop and supply MRI technology.
